spring throwdown 2025 at hoedown hill

SCHEDULED EVENTS
- 9AM: WALK-UP REGISTRATION
- Registration required for all scheduled events
- Located outside of The GrainHouse (weather permitting)
- All events require purchase of lift ticket
- Spectators get in for FREE
- 9AM – 4PM: TUBING SCAVENGER HUNT
- Age: 10 years and under
- Objective: Set off on a scavenger hunt around Hoedown Hill to find your answers!
- 10AM: KIDS GORILLA JUICE RACE
- Age: 10 years and under
- Objective: Contestant must successfully navigate a slalom course while holding a cup of green juice. The person crossing the finish line with the best time, with juice still in the cup, wins!
- AWARDS FOR:
- Fastest time with juice in cup
- *Purchase of lift ticket is required upon registration
- 11AM: SNOW HOSE RACE (TEAM EVENT)
- Four-member team race
- Objective: Teams of four-people must successfully navigate a slalom course while maintaining hold of a snowmaking hose.
- AWARDS FOR:
- Fastest time
- *Purchase of lift ticket is required upon registration
- 11AM – 2PM: FACE PAINTING (FREE)
- 12PM – 2PM: CARDBOARD SLED RACE
- Requirements: Bring a homemade cardboard sled to this event!
- Cardboard sleds will be judged on best design and decoration!
- AWARDS FOR:
- Fastest time
- Best design/decoration
- *Purchase of lift ticket is required upon registration
- Requirements: Bring a homemade cardboard sled to this event!
- 2PM – 4PM: SLUSH-CUP/POND SKIM
- AWARDS FOR:
- King or Queen of the pond
- Best costume (family appropriate)
- Best wipe out
- *Purchase of lift ticket is required upon registration
- AWARDS FOR:
- 4PM – 6PM: CLOSING CEREMONIES / AWARDS
